Our rights as motorcyclists are constantly being challenged at an alarming rate, so every motorcycle enthusiast should, at the very least, belong to a Motorcycle Rights Organization (MRO) of their choice. Following is a list of MRO's that you can join. Visit their websites for more information.

Australia: Tasmania MROs

Motorcycle Riders Associations of Tasmania

Est 1980 - "The three Motorcycle Riders Associations of Tasmania promote the social side of motorcycling and organise runs, rallies and other activities for the benefit of members and other motorcyclists; aim to overcome negative attitudes sometimes shown towards motorcyclists; and raise money for certain charities. The MRA in Tasmania now consists of three autonomous groups (northwest, north and south)."

"To promote and improve all aspects of road safety concerning motorcycling in Tasmania. To promote, improve and protect the recreational use of motorcycles in Tasmania. To promote and improve, at all levels, the full knowledge, awareness, understanding and acceptance of motorcyclists welfare and safety needs in Tasmania. To promote the safe and convenient use of motorcycles in Tasmania. To provide a united voice for all motorcyclists in Tasmania. To represent all motorcycling clubs, Associations and individuals at the State Government Board and Committee level."
